Everybody's Workin' For the Weekend

Ain't that the damn truth.

Have you ever heard that saying:  "Work to Live, don't Live to Work."
Because I'm in sales, sometimes the pressure REALLY, REALLY stresses me the hell out.  If I don't sell, I feel like my world is falling apart.  Definitely something I need to work on, but man is that easier said than done.  And then when you feel like you suck ass, you suck even more.  I realize I'm my own worst enemy sometimes, but hey, the month turned out great and I can't complain.

EXCEPT for the fact that I'm frickin' exhausted. I worked harder than I've probably ever worked, including a 12 day in a row stint before this past weekend set on.  So this girl is T.I.R.E.D.

How did this post turn into a therapy session right out of the gate?

Moving on.

Linking up with Sami, Dana & Leeann to vomit all over you all with my weekend in fotos.

Friday evening was spent at a local wine & beer tasting hosted by my husband at the golf course he runs!  You say wine & beer and I put on my big girl, supportive wife pants and I'm all over that.

Look at all those beers on the ground. They were all mine. Ok, not really.

I must've been on my best behavior because she gave me a free bottle of wine.

Saturday I woke  up super early (great idea, right?) and drove about 45 minutes across town to where my parents live and surprised my nephews by taking them to the water park!

She loves sunning during her Jeep rides.

                                                                 Jack is such a ham!

Can I just say, aren't these boys handsome!  And the best part--they absolutely adore eachother.  They are having a baby sister in October which should be interesting....a girl thrown in the mix of those two will be wild.  Can't wait!

Saturday evening we hit up the local casino.  I hate casinos by the way.  They are depressing.  People sit around, don't talk to eachother, smoke cigg's and stare at this screen that  makes the most obnoxious noise I've ever frickin' heard.  Well, why the hell did you go, Anne?  Good fucking question.

Someone lost waaay too much money! Don't worry, we woke him up.

Sunday I slept in, made my hubs some breakfast and sat on my ass for like 3 hours watching House Hunters.  Man I love that show.  And man do I love mornings like that!

Then the craziest thing happend. I took a NAP!  2 hours in all it's glory.

I wrapped up the day with a nice (hot as HELL) run and a little Facetime action with my Mom on her new iPhone.  Have I mentioned that my Mom and I talk everyday, several times and see eachother every weekend.  But, apparently we now need to Facetime as well.  It was fun.  Except for she told me I looked like shit with my bright red sunburned nose.  Bitch.

What did all you beauties do this weekend?

Look at you all busy this weekend! I was so boring in comparison haha. I talk to my mom like 17 times a day, it's ridiculous! Thanks for linking up :)

Ugh, I've never been to a casino and really don't have any desire too! I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't enjoy it. However, wine and beer at the golf course? Count me in!

I used to be in sales and YES, it can be SO much pressure! So I feel your pain. But I'm glad the month worked out well for you! And it looks like you celebrated appropriately :) Also, I totally agree with you on Casinos. Depressing and boring. And they smell like cigs. I hope you at least made a little bit of money while you were there!

So cute that you Facetime with your mama. Too cute. My mom says shes waiting for the iphone 5 before she converts...then we can chat!

Minus the nasty people and cig-smoking in the casino, sounds like a great weekend!
