There ain't no such thang as TOOO bright

The Nail Files

Shout out to Tara and Vicki for hosting this fab link up week after week!

When it comes to polish, in my book, the brighter the better.

And boy did this polish exemplify that!

I mean, it's called LIGHTENING after all

I have to say, loved the color...but didn't love the quality.
It went in very thick and clumpy!! I shook it and shook it. Made no difference!
I've had great experiences with Sallie Hansen Complete Manicure, but her Insta-Dri line I probably won't purchase again.

Unless you all have some pointers on thinning out the texture?

I found that brand to be thick, too. I just did one coat and it wore pretty well, with a top coat. Love the yellow!!

I really love this! I was recently given a bright yellow nail polish... And after seeing your nails, I think I'm brave enough to try it!

Love the color! I had the same issue with this insta-dri, I just wiped it off a ton, but the brush is weird.

So fun! I have never tried the insta-dri...I will be watching to see if anyone has any tips for you before getting some. But I love the yellow :) Happy Friday!

Very fun color! And I agree - the Insta Dri is not the best formula.

I love that polish! It looks great with that chevron print! Is it a top or a dress?

I'm weary of Yellow nail polish, but this shade looks fab!!! I have a problem with texture too, plus I tend to put on like 3 coats haha.

I was inspired by this yellow to do a yellow manicure myself! Love it!

I read that you are actually not supposed to shake polish, a little bit if it separated but shaking it can actually make it thicker and cause more bubbles to appear when you paint your nails. You can thin a polish by adding a little nail polish remover, but it does affect how well the polish works- staying power, etc. If you hate the formula, that might be a good thing to try? I usually like Sally too, so that stinks about the Insta-dry.

Super cute blog, love your style girl!

That color looks great on you! It's such a bummer when a fun color has a crappy consistency!

I love the yellow - same complaint with the Insti-Dry - but the colors are too good to not buy!

I really like the insta-dry. I have 3 colors of it and it is thick, but I never thought it to be clumpy. Maybe you got a bad bottle?

And in a creeper status move, I just read through some of your old posts and you are a crack up!
