I frickin' love frickin' Fridays

Boy, what a frickin' week.

I work in the senior living industry as a Sales & Marketing Manager at a beautiful little community in Overland Park.  I absolutely LOVE what I do and LOVE the company I work for, however it can be physically and emotionally exhausting.

I am blessed to go home at the end of the day, knowing I made a difference in a families life.  I help these families through one of the hardest decions they'll EVER have to make.  Change is hard, super duper hard.  It's even harder for stubborn 90 year old men, which makes it even harder on their 60-70 year old son or daughter.

I see sad tears. I see anger.  I see lost souls.  I see heartache.  I see confusion.  I see empty eys.

However, I also see comebacks.  I see hopeful eyes from sons and daughters.  I see hopeful eyes from our new residents.  I see happy tears.  I see relief on their faces.  I see acceptance.  I see new friendships blossom.  I see smiles.  And best of all, I get to talk, EVERYDAY, to people full of wisdom that only 90 years can get you.

I'm one lucky gal, but at times, I'm one tired gal.

Hope you all had a WONDERFUL week and are able to crack open a cold one......because hey, it's 5:00 somewhere!

Tootles!
